I've put together a nice AMD 64 dual core system, 2 GB memory and a Gigabyte motherboard, lightscribe drive, 160 GB WD HDD and a HP2605dn color printer. Previously been using XP on a laptop for my work but I decided to go ahead and build a PC from the ground up. The only issues I'm facing is that the printer won't print from the screen, such as an email or listing on eBay, but it will print from open office word processor. I've been through both the preferences and administrators printer settings, etc, over and over and it will print test pages fine, duplexes ok, but it won't print from any apps running other that the open office and set up screens. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. I love what I see from ubuntu. I started with the 7.10 CD I bought over the internet. Then upgraded to the 8.04 just a couple days ago.
