This was the same for ethernet or usb cables. I assume that will allow me to use it instead of my Speedtouch USB modem. check the troubleshooting.txt file on the CD. Loathe to use their set-up CD as I don't want a load of AOL stuff mixed up with my own Broadband.

It needs the AOL browser running to get the username/password to make the ADSL connection. After 2 minutes the router should be fully rebooted and all 4 lights on the hardware should be lit signifying a connection to the internet. I did fully delete the 190 broadband dial up (PPPoE) before trying the 205 just in case this was conflicting. Again maybe indicating the 205 as faulty or jammed in some way. Next will take you to the last page. check over here I have not used any of the software in the box as this is specifically for AOL.I have managed to borrow a voyater 240 ADSL modem/router and this connects up fine.
