So, over the last two months I’ve been getting a TON of email asking in summation, “DUBYA TEE EFF Happened to the Linuxcypt.net podcast?”

Well, there has been a lot going on. I have been heading up the Atlanta Linux Fest with the Ubuntu Ga LoCo team which is on September 20th. I have also started another podcast with Nick Ali called ubuntupodcast. I also just recently became married on August 29th in Antigua. If you would lilke to see the wedding photos click here.

After This week is over I plan to resume the LC podcasts starting season 2. The format will probably be quite a bit different. I want to focus more on review and how to podcasting as well as news. For more of the weekly news I will be using the ubuntupodcast with Nick on that. I hope you stick around and enjoy the new format that will be coming out. In any case, for any other questions please feel free to email me joshua.d.chase [at] gmail.com.

So with this, I leave you ninjacat!
Usually everyone has a top 5 or 10 favorite sites, and usually those are used as mental benchmarks for a level of enthusiasm, and professionalism that one tries to maintain. Well, Wayne Richardson has been one of those bloggers that I have in my RSS feeds and pay attention too often. He writes incredibly rich content, with screen casts, pix, and all the resources necessary to follow instruction.

So, curiosity got the better of me, and I wanted to know who the democratic nominees were that Linux likes best. So if I were an operating system, and I wanted to vote for one of the democratic candidates, I might be influenced by the following information.

So first I pulled “barackobama.com” which is Barack Obama’s official website. If you look at the screenshot below, you will notice he is running on a Linux webserver. Linux likes to see this, I know his because my computer started humming when we pulled the page.

Ok, now time for Hillary’s Site. So below you can see, she likes the M$ webserver, however she doesn’t trust money coming into it. So for her “contribute” subdomain, she relies on the trusty Penguin system.

Now I”m not sying you should vote for one or the other.. I’m just a dude with a laptop, listen to the penguin is all I say

cheers,

~j
